Well, how very invigorating being able to say that I found a short story of only 40 pages quite developed. That is indeed the biggest surprise here, the fact that there isn’t much left lacking.
The other wonderful surprise was the fact that the sensations given by the writing were fantastic. There was an appeal for the characters from the first line of this story. The attraction between Joe and Dazz ran from the words of this book into me in one easy flow and I had no hard time loving those two. And I think their differences made for a perfect match.
As for the plot itself I am very, very satisfied; fast, funny, interesting, sensual and adventurous it had it all without it being too much for its length. My one and only problem was the throwing of the “I love you” like a damn boomerang in the end. I mean, heck, they only started being together for two or three days. Yes they lusted after each other for a while, but that doesn’t qualify a “I love you” statement. I’d rather they left it at the "lets go for a real relationship" one.
Anyhow, I truly enjoyed this one and if you’re looking for a romance amidst the vastness of the sea and lathered in adventure, this is the book for you.
